                            "I have always been interested in making things. I make things to entertain myself and others,

                            and I use what ever I can get my hands on to do that. I enjoy juxtaposition: between flat objects

                            and dimensional objects, between funny and scary, between attraction and repulsion. I have

                            combined my drive to create and a constant lack of resources and developed a personal lexicon

                            of images and objects."                                 

                            Davey K received his BFA in Fiber and Material Studies from The Cleveland Institute of Art in 2006.
                            and has shown and performed in various capacities in Chicago, Cleveland, New York,

                            and Los Angeles. He currently lives and works in Chicago.
